Ladies and Gentlemen
I am kindly informing you,
that the Board of the Upper Silesian Division of the Polish Acoustical Society
has made a decision on postponing the organization of the Conferences planned for 2021
to 2022 and invites you to:
- 50th Jubilee Winter School on Wave and Quantum Acoustics,
February 28 - March 3, 2022, Szczyrk, Poland
- XLIX Winter School of Environmental Acoustics and Vibroacoustics,
February 28 - March 4, 2022, Szczyrk, Poland
The Conferences are intended to be organized in the traditional-contact mode at the META Hotel. Such a solution will ensure solemn celebration of the jubilee, the high scientific level and fruitful exchange of thoughts.
At the same time, as the scientific editor of the scientific monograph "ACOUSTICS, ACUSTOELECTRONICS and ELECTROTECHNICS" I am pleased to inform you that the monograph has been prepared and is within the process of publishing.
The Board of the Upper Silesian Division of the Polish Acoustic Society anticipates additional activities in 2021, which we will inform you about.

Ladies and Gentlemen
I am kindly informing you,
that the Board of the Upper Silesian Division of the Polish Acoustical Society
has decided to organise
50th Jubilee Winter School on Wave and Quantum Acoustics, February 22-25, 2021, Szczyrk, Poland
XLIX Winter School of Environmental Acoustics and Vibroacoustics, February 22-26, 2021, Szczyrk, Poland
in the traditional-contact mode at the META Hotel.
Detailed information is available on the website of each Conference.
At the same time, having regard to the very serious situation related to the epidemic threat,
The Board of OG PTA is considering the possibility of conducting the Conferences on-line. On-line, the Conferences would have a joint Jubilee Session on February 22, 2021 and individual Sessions for each Conference on February 23, 2021.
The final decision on which mode (traditional – contact or on-line) the Conferences will be conducted will be taken by the Board of OG PTA on December 28, 2020 (the decision will be posted on the Conference website). On December 28, 2020, the legal status that will apply when the Conference will be organized should be known, and at the same time, the Conference participants will be able to pay conference fees in 2020.
